Rob Davis

In 2000 Rob Davis wrote the record phenomenon of the year - Spiller's 'If This Ain't Love' . He then trumped it with the boundary crossing pop single of the year - Kylie's 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head', co-written & co-produced with Cathy Dennis, which went to No.1 in over 25 countries, and earned them 3 Ivor Novello awards : most performed , bestinternational, and best dance song.

An accomplished producer, and guitar and keyboard player, Rob also saw his song 'I Need A Miracle' for Fragma hit the No.1 spot, and added the top line to the underground instrumental sleeper 'Right On' by Silicone Soul, and co-wrote the hits 'Get Over You' for Sophie Ellis Bextor (No 2). 'When I Lost You' for Sarah Whatmore (No 6), and solely wrote 'Down Boy' for Holly Valance (No2). Introduced to dance music in the late 80s by Paul Oakenfold, in 1988 he co-produced with the legendary DJ the early Ibiza anthem and worldwide Number 1 dance hit 'Jibaro' by Elektra, going on to write and co-produce the beautiful 'Joy & Heartbreak' for Movement 98 and the huge 'Not Over Yet' for Grace, which was recently recorded and released by The Klaxons.

In demand as a writer and producer, Rob has worked with some of the best of British and American songwriters and artists. He is equally adept at turning an instrumental dance groove into a FM-friendly anthem or creating pop classics from scratch.
